We want our host teachers – known as Darwin Day Scholars – and their students to continue thinking and learning about evolutionary science long after our scientists have finished their Roadshow visit. That is why the host teachers are given a collection of resources to help them and their colleagues teach evolution more effectively in the future.
The resources consist of books, journals, digital media, memberships to science education professional societies, and other scientific and instructional materials exploring all aspects of evolution. We’ve received donations from HHMI, Oxford University Press, University of Chicago Press, Wiley and Sons/Wiley Blackwell, The Vaccine Makers Project, Fountainhead Press, and Save our Monarchs Foundation.
Below is a slide show featuring some of the resources given to Darwin Day Scholars in the past.
